Prepardness for Students, Singles, and Seniors
Resources
So much of preparedness is focused on families. Wives, mothers, fathers, preparing for their homes. And much of the information is useful for Seniors, Singles, and Students. However, this group of individuals may have unique needs and living situations.First of all, we often talk of long-term storage . . . weeks, months, or even a year or more of food. If you live a mobile lifestyle or in restricted area housing, then these long-term storage options may not be possible.
From our perspective, the goals of preparedness may be different for Seniors, Singles, and Students. If we have minor problems, like everyone else, you should be prepared to deal with short-term (one to three weeks) of difficulty. If we ever encounter major problems, then it would be wise to have a personal plan to reunite with family members or friends with whom you can work together for a long-term adjustment.
It is our recommendation that your preparedness plan include (with the knowledge of family and friends) arrangements and a plan to travel and to reunite with others you trust.
With that in mind, Eliana has compiled a list of options and insights that might benefit you in short-term survival, emergency travel preparations, and long term preparedness. This is a 25 page document that you can download to your computer.
