Emergency Contact Cards

List of Preparedness Activities

There are a lot of details to think about to prepare for disasters. We often overlook some of them. This is a fairly detailed and comprehensive list of steps that you can take to become more prepared. They don't have to be done all at once or in this exact order.

Many steps are tied directly to the online video lessons in the Starter Lessons section of this web site.

Emergency Contact Cards

Emergency Contact Cards

Every member of your family should have one of these emergency contact cards in their wallet or purse. You might also consider giving one of these to each of your younger children's teachers. In the event of an emergency, all family contact information would be at their fingertips.

This is a complete contact list. As you hold your family council, decide who your out-of-area contacts will be. Be sure to look up any unfamiliar phone numbers and record them on this list. If you keep this list in your Family Emergency Preparedness Plan Binder, you will always have these numbers handy.
